Scarlet flowers scatter across a soft lilac ground, edged with a fine red border and gathered at a drawstring waist, in a flowing full-length cut. Hand block printed in our own factory in Sanganer, Jaipur, one impression at a time, using carved teak blocks and freshly mixed dyes.

Cut from 100% lightweight cotton in a relaxed kaftan, a deep V-neck, easy short sleeves and a drawstring waist that flatters every shape. One size, comfortable for sizes S to XXL (bust up to 50 in / 127 cm, hips up to 52 in / 132 cm).

Wear it as a swimsuit cover-up at the beach or pool, a maxi dress for a resort evening, or easy loungewear at home. Lightweight and foldable, it packs light for travel.

100% cotton. Hand block printed in Sanganer, Jaipur. First wash separately in cold water, following the vinegar-soak instructions in our Care Guide. After that, machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. The slight unevenness between repeats is the signature of a hand-carved block, not a flaw.

A NOTE ON IMPRESSION

A kaftan is cut from almost flat panels, so the block print runs nearly unbroken from shoulder to hem.

Care
First wash, before use

Cold water, separately. Add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse, it sets the dye and prevents bleeding. Soak for 30 minutes, then a gentle cycle. Air dry in shade.
Every wash after

Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. Mild detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener. Tumble dry on low or line dry in shade.
Ironing

Warm iron, on the reverse side. The print stays crisper that way.
Storing

Cool, dry, away from direct sunlight. Cotton like this prefers to breathe, fold loosely, not tightly.
Loose threads

If you find one, clip with scissors. Don't pull. Hand-stitched edges sometimes leave a thread that wants to come out, it's normal, not a defect.

What size is the kaftan?

One size, comfortable for sizes S to XXL. It fits a bust up to 50 in (127 cm) and hips up to 52 in (132 cm), and the drawstring waist adjusts to your shape.
