Every piece is hand-printed. We don't use screen-printing machines or rotary printers.

Some pieces (typically larger items like duvet covers, full quilts, and limited-edition motifs) are not held in stock. When you order them, we begin printing within 48 hours and dispatch within 14 working days. Made-to-order pieces are clearly marked on the product page.

Slight variation in print density, colour depth, or block alignment is normal in hand-printed cotton. Each impression is made by hand, and small irregularities are part of the craft. They are not defects.

Tracking is included on every order. If tracking shows no movement for 7+ working days after dispatch, write to us. We'll investigate and either reprint, resend, or refund.

No. All our orders ship with a packing slip that does not display pricing. We can also include a handwritten note upon request — let us know in the order notes at checkout.

Yes, slightly — especially indigo and madder. Always wash a new piece separately the first time, in cold water with half a cup of white vinegar. After that, the dye is stable.

Cotton always shrinks slightly on first wash (we pre-wash at the workshop to reduce this). Expect 1-3% shrinkage maximum.
