Most Sutracraft pieces are dispatched from Jaipur within 5 to 7 working days of order. Made-to-order pieces take longer: allow 3 to 4 weeks from order to dispatch. From there, transit times depend on where you live. Below are the rates and timelines for each destination; all charges and free-shipping amounts are in US dollars. Tracking is included on every order. If you need a piece by a specific date, write to us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether it's possible.

Total time from order to delivery

For in-stock pieces: UK: 8 to 12 working days. UAE: 9 to 14 working days. EU: 10 to 15 working days. US: 12 to 19 working days. For made-to-order pieces, allow 3 to 4 weeks before dispatch, then the transit time above.

Customs and import duties

For US orders, we pay any import duty for you, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. If you're ordering to the UK, EU or anywhere else outside India, your order may attract import duties or VAT on arrival, depending on your country's rules and the order value. These are not included in our prices and are paid directly to the courier or customs authority on delivery.

  • UK orders of £135 or less: No customs duty. UK VAT (20%) applies; it isn't collected at our checkout, so the courier may collect it, plus a handling fee, before delivery.
  • UK orders over £135: Import VAT (20%) and any customs duty are collected by the courier before delivery, plus a possible handling fee.
  • UAE orders under AED 1,000: Generally no customs duty.
  • UAE orders over AED 1,000: 5% customs duty + 5% VAT may apply.
  • EU orders: Local VAT applies on every order regardless of value. Rates vary by country.
  • US orders: We pay any US import duty for you. Nothing to pay on delivery.

If a package is delayed or lost

Tracking is included on every order. You'll receive the tracking link by email when the package leaves Jaipur.

If your tracking shows no movement for more than 7 working days after dispatch, write to us. We'll contact the courier and give you a status update within one working day.

If a package is confirmed lost in transit, we'll either reprint and resend (for in-stock pieces) or refund in full. The choice is yours.
