Block printed by hand in a small Jaipur workshop, one impression at a time, using carved teak blocks and dyes mixed fresh each morning. Blue-grey pomegranate buds climb trailing vines on a dusty rose ground.
Cut from 100% pure cotton and hemmed on all four sides, pre-washed and pre-shrunk so they hold their shape and colour through the wash after wash a napkin actually gets. Made to be used, not saved for best.
Each napkin measures 45 x 45 cm (18 x 18 inches) — dinner size, not a tea towel. Supplied as a set of four, one per place setting.
Lay them with a block print tablecloth for a spring lunch, Easter brunch, Thanksgiving, Christmas, a wedding table, or an ordinary Tuesday dinner.
100% cotton. Hand block printed in India. Machine wash cold on gentle, do not bleach, tumble dry low, warm iron if needed. The slight unevenness between repeats is the signature of a hand-carved block, not a flaw.

Care
First wash, before use
Cold water, separately. Add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse, it sets the dye and prevents bleeding. Soak for 30 minutes, then a gentle cycle. Air dry in shade.
Every wash after
Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. Mild detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener. Tumble dry on low or line dry in shade.
Ironing
Warm iron, on the reverse side. The print stays crisper that way.
Storing
Cool, dry, away from direct sunlight. Cotton like this prefers to breathe, fold loosely, not tightly.
Loose threads
If you find one, clip with scissors. Don't pull. Hand-stitched edges sometimes leave a thread that wants to come out, it's normal, not a defect.
