Every piece is hand-printed by a karigar using carved wooden blocks. Small irregularities, faint colour shifts, a barely perceptible double press — these are not flaws. They are the visible evidence of a hand at work.

A small amount, yes. We pre-shrink the cotton at the workshop, but expect another 2–3% on the first home wash. Our sizes are cut with this in mind.

A little colour will release on the first wash — this is normal for naturally dyed cotton. Wash cold, separately, with half a cup of white vinegar to set the dye. Soak 30 minutes before the cycle.

Yes, on low. Line drying in shade keeps the colour longer.

You have 14 days from receipt to return any unused item. We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Made-to-order pieces are not returnable, which is stated clearly at checkout.

We print these pieces only after you order them — fresh from the block. Allow 14 working days for printing, drying, and finishing before dispatch.

We use AZO-free dyes — natural where possible (indigo, madder, pomegranate) and certified low-impact otherwise. AZO-free certification is in progress.
